Who's putting this on?  It's us, your friends.  This is grassroots cross.  It's our first time putting on a cross race so we thought we should do six and make it a series.  We've raced cross before, watched it live, and watched it on TV.  So, get ready for some seriously awesome courses and a good time for sure.

Info:

You can ride any non-motorized bicycle you want for any of the categories.  Be prepared for a challenging, off-road, cyclocross course.  It's going to have it all.  Rain or shine or sleet or snow we'll be out there. All races will take place in Morning Side Park.

You've got to wear an approved bicycle helmet while on your bike.

It costs $20 per entry or a discounted price of $80 for the entire series (all 6 races)!

Category Descriptions: 

The B Race is for first time cyclocross racers or those who approach racing with a casual demeanor.  You're here for fun and you know it.  If you win, you'll get to stand upon a podium and there may be cool prizes.

 

The A Race is for people who like to push it and for experienced cyclocross racers.  A bike racers category.  They'll get to stand on a podium after each race and there will be a cash prize for the series winner.​​​

Series Winner!

The winner of the series will be the racer with the fastest cumulative time for their best four races.  You must compete in four races to be included in the series overall.  B Group wins a nice gift certificate, and the A group wins CASH!
